Residential Development in Oxshott: Transforming a Bungalow Site into Four New Homes

Project Overview

This project in Oxshott involved the redevelopment of an existing detached bungalow to create four new three-bedroom homes.

The proposal replaced the single property with two pairs of semi-detached houses, making better use of the site while providing well-planned family accommodation.

Each home was designed across three floors, with two bedrooms on the first floor and a further bedroom on the second floor. The properties also include an ensuite, family bathroom and downstairs WC.

Fluent was involved from the initial architectural design and planning application through to working drawings, structural design and technical coordination.

This Hersham home extension transformed an existing detached house with a carefully designed combination of single and double-storey extensions.

The project included a full-width ground-floor rear extension, a part-width first-floor rear extension and a complete internal reconfiguration of the property.

The aim was to create more usable space while improving the way the existing rooms connected with one another.

Rather than treating the extension as a standalone addition, the design considered the whole house. This helped create a more practical and cohesive home for modern family life.
