Virtual Reality plays a key role for Developers
Virtual Reality plays a key role in the future of architectural design and selling-off plan, enhancing Developer’s sales and marketing campaigns as surprisingly people struggle to visualise space and understand plans.
As planning & design specialists, we use our innovative Virtual Reality technology to ensure that launching a development without a show home or on-site presence isn’t the challenge it once was. It allows developers to showcase their development to many more potential buyers as they can view it/them from the comfort of their own homes, meaning less travel time, missed appointments, rebooking, and admin time.
By combining the latest technology such as Virtual Reality Software, 3D floor plans and perspectives, Meta Quest 2 Headset, QR codes, and video any property developer or landowner can easily sell their property off-plan.
Buyers can experience a fully immersive sales experience and view developments externally and internally, selecting a home to buy months before it would be safe to visit the site.
We asked our VR Consultant and Chartered Architect, Georgina, why Virtually Reality is the future for Developers, Landowners, and Estate Agents. Here Georgina confirms why it will be a popular choice when it comes to selling-off plan and selling the dream.

What is a virtual tour?
Virtual 360 tours allow viewers to remotely explore an unbuilt building; accessible through a desktop computer, tablet, mobile device, and VR hardware i.e., Meta Quest 2; before they have even submitted a planning application.
What is the benefit of a virtual tour for prospective buyers?
This allows the prospective client to view their dream home in an interactive and immersive experience that is far more engaging than just images and plans. The virtual tour also improves the viewer’s understanding of space, light, and scale.
Why should developers use a virtual tour package?
A virtual tour provides a fully immersive experience of a building, showcasing a building from its architectural style to the interiors, right down to the light sockets. This level of immersive content will help sell the vision to prospective buyers.
Can you customise a tour?
All tours can be customised to a development’s specifications and requirements.
Do virtual tours really help to sell a property?
Virtual tours help to elevate marketing to the digital age. Not everyone can understand 2D plans and virtual tours tell the story of a development, not just the generalised layout. It’s about the emotional connection the user will experience by seeing the finer details and wider context in virtual reality and emulating real-life experiences in an immersive virtual world.
What do developers need to consider when using virtual reality?
Developers need to consider how the marketing material is presented to buyers. 2D brochures could be replaced with QR code links to 3D 360 panorama walkthroughs and animated showreels.
What hardware do you use?
We currently offer users the Meta Quest 2 virtual reality headsets (available free to premium customers), the newest, most advanced all-in-one VR headset, we offer full training and hardware support. Price on request.
What do your packages look like?
We currently have 2 packages, premium, and lite, which can be found here . We also provide technical support for an additional charge, price on request.
