When our clients in Virginia Water, Surrey approached us, they had one simple goal: to turn their underused loft into a luxurious master bedroom with ensuite, and to reimagine their first floor so the whole suite felt cohesive and spacious. Our challenge — and one we love — was to make the loft bright, airy, and functional, while integrating it seamlessly with the first floor to create a complete master suite with a dressing room and luxurious ensuite.

Designing the Perfect Loft and Master Suite

The first thing we did was think about light and space. To give the loft a real wow factor, we added an apex window that floods the bedroom with natural light. It immediately makes the space feel larger and more inviting, giving the new master bedroom a sense of elegance and openness that perfectly complements the rest of the home.

Meanwhile, the first floor was carefully reconfigured. We extended the master bedroom into the loft, creating a natural flow between the floors, and added a dedicated dressing room and a luxurious ensuite bathroom. The result is a master suite that’s not only practical but also feels like a retreat, offering both style and functionality.
